THE GRANVILLE COUNTY HERITAGE FESTIVAL IS A FUN-FILLED DAY FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!
Granville County Heritage Day is being celebrated in Downtown Oxford, NC on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in conjunction with the 3rd Annual NC Hot Sauce Contest beginning at 10 AM and ending at 4 PM.
Remember When is hosting the event in the parking lot behind our mall. There will be an old log tobacco barn complete with tobacco, farm implements and many related items of those by-gone days.
You will even be able to try your hand at tying green and cured tobacco the old-fashoned way. There will be much to see and do in Historical Downtown Oxford -- music, games, and street vendors will fill our sidewalks and streets. There will be quite an array of food and drink available and even old-fashioned homemade ice cream complete with a hit and miss engine demonstration.
This event would not be complete without ANTIQUES. Uner tents out back, there will be several dealers displaying a wide range of "memories" from which you can surely find a memento or two of your trip to our beautiful city.
Come out and enjoy the Heritage Day festivities as well as the Hot Sauce Contest. Plan to come early and spend the day with us. You won't want to miss a moment of fun!
